I’m out filming for the SHOUT Festival in Birmingham and caught up with John Lupton and Gary Jones who have been busy producing the winning artwork for two murals to be located within Birmingham’s Gay Village area. The murals will be an integral part of the environmental improvements in Hurst Street.

We spoke to Ken Hurd the competition winner and David Viney, Producer - SHOUT Festival about the impact the mural’s will have on the gay village.

Recorded in 1992 on an AMSTRAD STUDIO 100 for you younger viewers that’s a 4 track tape system as advertised on T.V and was cutting edge then. We met up twice a week in my flat on the Dudley Road, Birmingham to write and record music. 7 years beforeBig Brother hit the screen. Lisa and I wrote and produced this song about a haunted house, with Davina letting us know ‘She’s Coming To Get You!’ kind of spooky now years later!
